hadn't seen TD since he played the rosebowl! in 1988....

first night out post TED conference

one man show except for the final 3 tracks (plus the partial instrumental) w/ jazz mafia horns (trombone, sax, and trumpet w/ a lil percussion) sittin' in.

lots of electronic devices--m-audio triggerfinger, novation, some giant old analog signal generator that seemed to be acting as a midi controller, some VST--recognized a minimoog plugin on
the monitor behind him. projection screen a combination of prepared video and live head set cam w/ effects.

~ 12 tracks in all (maybe 75 minute set)--run order not exact don't know all the
titles--been out of the thomas dolby loop for years.

leipzig is calling
submarines
suitcase
?eh

?karma ran over my dogma (w/ intro story about a
k. fed rap over a dolby loop of she blinded me with science on k. fed's myspace page)--cool '60sish video kaleidoscope-like

windpower (w/ NASA data sunspot modulations on the intro)

europa

?(red car graphics on screen)

some instrumental (partial tune)

airhead

science

e: hot sauce

fun show, not sold out. only noticeable clam was a bum bass note (flat) before the topo maps (recognized desolation wilderness) came up on the projection screen

white T shirts $15 (sole inhabitant CD same price)--forgot the design
black T's like the sole inhabitant cover pic of TD $20. no 2XL T-shirts. sole inhabitant DVDs $25.

TD mentioned his 16 year old daughter joined him onstage during the early show. not present during the late show.

same final three songs as the early show (didn't hear more of that show from outside--so can't comment)

he's playing one show (two sets) at the little fox in redwood city tonight as the tour meanders towards SXSW.
