WOW again

love the little fox
so close, so easy
so intimate

Anthony Crawford on acoustic guitar, Rick Rosas on electric bass and Ben Keith on pedal steel/dobro

with a band like that you can not go wrong

the gamble paid off for me at this sold out show

Neil played several songs, starting with this wierd electric guitar/sitar. Seeing the "spastic monkey" (our affectionate term for neil when he gets rolling) crossed with the gentle and proud backup musician just made me happy. Played harp on 2 songs as well

I have huge love for neil and get nowhwre near enough of him

keep praying / creating the space for him to play at the big fox next door - I can almost feel it - I was quietly watching neil at the back door for 10 minutes - he looks pretty comfortable there

fyi the booking guy said that the sons would be at the big fox in the fall - hooray!!!

Saw Pat Nevins and other young at hearts

WOW

I love music
and really love music live

I need more room to dance, and get my arms in the air - when the LF has good rock n roll - i will be there

LLTD

Interesting that you're reviewing a Pegi Young show and you make no mention of her at all...Her performance, her singing, or even her guitar playing. You mention the band members names, the names of other fans, and the name of the performer's husband...but no mention of the artist whom you paid the bucks to see or what she did.

Wait...you paid to see the artist's husband who in your words, "Just made me happy". Watching Neil at the back door ~ now that's some performance.

Just an observation.

right on Nick

I did not offer much in the way of a "review"

The main reason i bought tickets within hours of them going on sale was the hope of seing Neil

I did not have the highest expectations of Pegi
The songs were nice, and fairly well crafted.
I did not want to be negative - her singing was not very strong - especially afyter hearing the Angel Band in the same room the night before.

Ben Keith was the musical force for me Tuesday - Rick Rosas has a great vibe
I had a good time, and felt blessed

Pegi just happened to have one fabulous back-up band at her back door - not her fault. She is a good person, -not a great musician in my book
