Jack Straw

Phil's playing the new bass- sounds tight & phat- more bass, lesh philling

Jackstraw started weak- Jackie reminds of Bruce on vox- Teresa is a nice compliment...

ouch- some tunes sound good sloppy and loose- this isn't one of them!

NFA- off to a tighter start- fake B3 is thin sounding- miss Brent's leslies- thanks for Molo! The lead guitar tones are a bit thin and whimpy for my taste- prefer Jimmy/Warren tones for this music. Jackie is a decent rock lead player though.

itwould be nice if iclips would figure out how to synch the audio & video- it's like a thunderstorm 2 miles away...

The particle tune was absolutely smoking hot- if they could figure out how to sound like that more than just 5-6 moments each show they'd really have something going on... as is though I'm not motivated to drive far to see these guys when you hear them trash Jackstraw and the like...

Elevator..Def one of the better parts of show

Listening to and watching it on I clips..it was not all that spacey..more Bolero Latinesque

Lots of Arabia and northern Africa in The Elevator. Always a fan of that ethnic flare. The band Between did it beautifully like this song.

This show rocked my balls off. Saw my 2 best buds from up north during set break! Always good to unexpectedly see the fam at the front of the stage. What a great show. The Elevator was not expected at all (Phil does trance dance jam pretty phuckin' good). Viola knocked my socks off from the first phrase, and openin' with Stranger? Yeah Jack was a little weak, and it wasn't the longest show, but what the hell thats what makes these shows awesome is the unpredictability of the event! Plus just for Phil Lesh to walk on the stage is a blessing. Phil your heart with Love always :-)
