Greensky played to a small crowd last night in what's quickly becoming my new favorite venue in town, Cafe Du Nord! The staff was great, beer is still reasonably priced and it's a lovely old room with great character.

The band played two sets, about an hour each. They did 'Road to Nowhere', one of my favorite covers they do, although I was hoping they'd sing 'bridge to nowhere' ha ha ha. Other covers included Senor, Salty Dog, and a killer One Way Out. They did plenty of originals too--Grow Bananas, 5 Interstates, Bottle Dry, Reverend, Radio Song, 200 Miles from Montana, Train Junkie, Send Me Your Address in Heaven.

My favorite thing about this band is how balanced they are, no one really stands out, they're all solid in my book. It seems Anders found his place in the band easily, I can't imagine them without him these days.

Bottom line--these guys are at the top of my list these days, This was another great night of singing and dancing and smiling so give 'em a chance when they're local to ya :-)
