I thought it was a really good, fun show. Band sounded pretty tight together (except for the Tennessee Jed which though it had some great solos had trouble staying on the tracks...) I'm a fan of Marco, Neal and Anders so I was pretty sold on that part of the lineup. Tony Leone has really grown into this material and I thought he was holding it down pretty well. Larry and Teresa brought their talents to the table and I enjoyed them thoroughly! The show never really took off into deep space 9 warp zone but I wasn't really expecting it with this lineup.

I was very satisfied with the value of the show... $25 was a steal for over 2.5 hours of music! Telstar was only 1.5 and was $40 and I thought that show was the weaker of the two (but still fun in its own way.) While I'm sure the $150 shows were special and I wish I had had the funds to go to those they weren't really much more music than today. It was a bit weird to look out the front doors when the Grate room was raging and see bright shining day!

In light of some of the other discussions, I thought the crowd was pretty good. Alcohol was being sold but as it was mid-day people weren't really drinking that much. I didn't have any issues with people talking, which may have been a first for me at Terrapin Crossroads. Perhaps the serious vibe of the previous two nights carried through... Thanks for a good one from the turtle zone, Phil!
